We have lots of fun planned for February!
February 10th we will be celebrating the 100th day of school.
We will be learning about a few of our Presidents in honor of President's Day.
Valentines Day parties will be February 13th.
The Busy Bears will be celebrating International Pancake day on Feb. 28th. We will be working on our sight words, color words, and our letters Q, R, S, T and U. Our Bible story will be all about Moses from
his birth to the 10 commandments.
The Little Engines will learn about Fables, Folklores & rhymes. Our Bible story will be Jesus and the Children. Our letters will include R, S, T & U. We will work on skip counting by 2s and 10s. We will be doing a science experiment about soda vs. water effects on our teeth. We may even do a snow dance & put cotton between our toes to bring on the SNOW!!

The 4 year old classroom concentrates on Kindergarten readiness in an atmosphere of Christian love. Each child is involved in small group and large group activities. The academics, arts & crafts are designed to help the children build strong skills and confidence in order to have a positive first year of school. Bible stories and teaching Christian values are also an important part of the day. The children are encouraged to become more independent and responsible for themselves. Of course there is also plenty of play time, inside and out, to add to the fun.
Weekly the children have a special enrichment time. This class includes library time, music, art and science. This is a special time for the children to explore and develop the unique gifts God has given them and explore the wonderful world God has created.
Biweekly, chapel is held in the sanctuary. This is a time for the children, as a preschool, to get excited about God and all of His blessings through Bible stories and songs. The biblical teachings are reinforced in the classroom throughout the week.Small groups are a time for the students to concentrate on Kindergarten readiness skills and get more individual attention. The 30 minute lessons each week concentrate on math, numbers, phonics and science. During this time all students will work with both 4 year old lead teachers.
